About Material 漆 漆の木から採取された樹液で、木の樹皮を傷つけて樹液を採ります。また、漆はかぶれることでよく知られています。 乾漆 私が制作に使用している乾漆とは、漆、麻布、土を何層にも重ねて十分な強度をもたせたものです。 代表的な作品：興福寺の八部衆立像（阿修羅像を含む） 作業工程としては、 ①水粘土で制作 ②石膏で型を取る ③その内側に乾漆技法を施す ④石膏型を壊して取り出す ⑤仕上げ（装飾） また、石膏型を使わずに水粘土やスタイロフォームの上から乾漆技法を施した作品もあります。 URUSHI (lacquer) Urushi is a liquid made from tree sap, it cuts the bark of the tree and collects tree sap. Also, Urushi is a well-known skin irritant (like Poison ivy). KANSHITU Kanshitu is I create many layers of lacquer, linen and soil until the piece is strong enough. Famous works: Kofuku-ji Temple, standing statues of Hachibushu (including Asura). My works process ① create with clay ② make a mold with plaster ③ create kanshitu technique with the inside of it ④ destroy the mold and take a work out from it ⑤ finishing (decorate) Also, there are works made kanshitu technique on from clay and styrofoam without using plaster mold.
